Reference: JHB000049-Charl-1 Our Durban based manufacturing client in the petrochemical industry is looking for your 10 years' experience as a Project Planner for a long-term contract. Minimum Requirements South African Citizen Credit and criminal clear Must have MS Projects and Primavera experience Must be willing to travel Must have a minimum of 10 years' experience as a Project Planner Be resilient under pressure Attention to detail Immediately available Duties Develop project schedules from level 1 to level 5 and resource load schedules Develop resource loading histograms for reporting Review, verify and monitor progress of level 5 construction vendor schedules Visit sites and verify actual progress against plan claimed by construction vendors on a regular basis Prepare schedule variance reports and S-Curve on overall project progress for senior management Prepare 1-week and 1-month look ahead from schedules to focus on critical path activities to prevent delays Proactively advise Project Manager on schedule threats - 1-week and 1-month look ahead Advise Project Manager on options to fast trave and / or crash project schedules and associated increase in risk profile, i.e., resources, HSE and constructability Actively participate in all project meetings and work seamlessly with project team Appreciation and compliance to company HSE, ZETO rules, policies and procedures
