Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager Location: Cato Ridge Industry: Food Manufacturing RPO Recruitment's client are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to join their team at their food manufacturing facility in Cato Ridge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and food safety management, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining quality standards in a food manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards Manage the quality assurance team and provide leadership and guidance to ensure all quality objectives are met Conduct regular audits and inspections of the manufacturing process to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence Coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure that raw materials and finished products meet quality specifications Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on quality assurance best practices Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality assurance activities Requirements: Bachelor's degree in food science, biology, chemistry, or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance management in a food manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems (ISO 22000, HACCP) Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks Detail-oriented and analytical mindset Professional certification in food safety (e.g. SQF, BRC) is a plus RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
