A large well-established FMCG company based in Toti is looking for a Quality Manager who has strong numerical skills. Manage both quality control and quality assurance to ensure that final product continually meets the standards required, ensuring customer satisfaction Manage workflow and quality of output of the quality team Ensure all policies, procedures and quality initiatives are effectively implemented Implement quality objectives in line with business objectives Investigate customer complaints and ensure effective measures are put in place to prevent reoccurrence Provide accurate feedback to relevant stakeholders Investigate root causes of defects and nonconformances and recommend solutions for quality issues Input in quality audits Work with management teams to provide recommendations and solutions to quality issues Work closely with supply chain, operations and marketing teams to ensure quality is always maintained Conduct risk assessments and ensure effective control measures are in place Report on the quality of products throughout all phases of production Assess and review all quality control verification checks to ensure conformance Manage the control and standards of the laboratory, laboratory equipment and housekeeping, ensuring reliability and functionality Onboard and train new quality team members Manage consumable budget for laboratories Stay up to date with new quality control techniques and methods Relevant degree/qualification 5 years post qualification experience (preferably in FMCG environment) 3 years Proven Leadership Experience Good understanding of ISO standards and requirements Experience working with multi-discipline teams Good computer skills - MS office Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) Excellent decision-making skills Ability to lead and manage a team with a hands-on approach – proven track record Strong analytical and problem-solving ability (use logic and reasoning-based approach to ensure the best solution is implemented) Be able to write clear, concise and informative reports that highlight the main findings Be able to discuss quality standards and how to accomplish them with other employees Attention to detail Analysis, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to review systems, find flaws and pose solutions to those flaws Interpersonal skills Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards Ability to multi-task and work under pressure Apply Now
