Eden perfumes is a generic perfume company with 25 stores in and around Gauteng. We are opening our first store in Blue Route Mall, Cape Town. We are looking for a bubbly, outgoing, dedicated and rigerous Regional Store Manager to manage our perfume stores and to motivate sales assistants to achieve monthly sales targets Job Description – REGIONAL STORE MANAGER Report to : Owners/Directors Your key performance areas (KPA's) are: Your main objective is to the get the stores under you (3-7 stores) running smoothly, which includes but is not limited to: Increasing sales Motivating and teaching staff to sell and communicate properly with customers Teaching staff to use the computer properly, entering all sales, keeping rejects and testers aside, telling head office of returns, exchanges etc. Teach staff to do proper cash ups and proper document management Looking for any signs of theft and then getting head office to investigate it Make sure that the staff take prid e in their shop and keep it clean at all times STOCK MANAGEMENT WHILE IN-STORE Teach staff to: correctly count and check all delivered stock keep testers and rejects aside and ready for stock take do accurate weekly stocktakes fill in daily turnover slips, petty cash slips, deposit slips etc. Do checks to ensure that no theft is taking place Inform management of good sellers that customers are asking for and conversely, Inform management of bad sellers that should be discontinued SALES AND STAFF MANAGEMENT Motivating Sales staff in stores Teach sales staff how to sell perfume and how to increase their sales Teach staff how to “live” by their targets and push to reach their targets on a daily basis Check that sales assistants are dressed and are behaving respectfully Liaise with staff members Manage working rosters and replacing/shuffling people during staff leave Address any staff issues/ complaints/ disputes in your stores Lead by example Shop maintenance Maintain the companies look and feel and corporate identity at each store Lights Paint Cleanliness and neatness of store (Do appraisal after monthly clean) Water plants and clean leaves Decorations: remove seasonal décor e.g. Christmas, Easter etc. and remove any old ugly looking décor Reporting You will be the eyes and ears of management and the stores so you need to be in constant contact with us Report the status of the shops and any problems to Alessio on a weekly basis Comprehensive monthly feedback meetings with Alessio and Cathy at head office Self Motivated, Driven, "Can Do" attitude, sales oriented and very well organised Cost To Compny R15000
