Retail Assistant (100% Capri) - Stellenbosch
Delaire Graff Estate is looking for a Retail Assistant to join the Capri team. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-class customer service and increasing the company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greeting customers who enter the shop;
- Be involved in stock control and management;
- Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for;
- Styling the clients according to their body type, etc.;
- Being responsible for processing cash and card payments;
- Stocking shelves with merchandise;
- Answering queries from customers;
- Reporting discrepancies and problems to the manager;
- Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers;
- Balancing cash register with receipts;
- Dealing with customer refunds;
- Keeping the store tidy and neat;
- Responsible for dealing with customer’s complaints;
- Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands;
- Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor;
- Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12;
- Preferably 1 - 2 years’ previous retail assistant experience;
- Basic administration skills;
- Proficiency in English;
- Customer service focus;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to pay attention to detail;
- Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele;
- Enthusiastic personality;
- Reliable and adaptable;
- Ability to work under pressure.
