We are seeking a Sales Engineer with a degree and expertise in industrial/chemical valves. This position is based in Durban North and offers a competitive commission structure. If you have a strategic mindset and are adept at maintaining business relationships, we would like to hear from you. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for strategic planning to identify potential business opportunities and markets. They will conduct product training sessions for clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our valves. A key part of the role is maintaining and nurturing business relationships with existing clients while also developing relationships with potential clients. This includes regular follow-ups, addressing client concerns, and providing support when needed. The successful candidate will be expected to travel as part of their duties. This could include but not be limited to; visiting client sites for product demonstrations, attending trade shows and industry events, and meeting with potential clients to understand their needs and propose suitable solutions. As a Sales Engineer, the candidate will be at the forefront of driving sales, meeting and exceeding sales targets, and contributing to the growth of the company. They will work closely with the internal team to ensure customer satisfaction and will be instrumental in securing repeat business and forging long-term relationships with clients. Please note that this role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric mindset. The ability to understand technical specifications and translate them into client-friendly language is crucial. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate should have a tertiary qualification and knowledge of industrial/chemical valves. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous. The expected Cost to Company (CTC) ranges from R25000 to R30000, inclusive of a travel allowance. In addition to the CTC, a commission structure is available, providing an opportunity to earn additional income.
