Our client is looking for a Sales Manager to join their team. The purpose of the role is to serve to manage the sales and marketing function for our client. Manage and develop the team into a high-performance unit that will grow our client's sales effort locally and internationally. Develop processes and systems to achieve this effort. Also develop and implement a robust marketing plan for our client in conjunction with the executive team and our client's outside suppliers. Ultimate responsibility for setting, monitoring and achieving sales targets for the company.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for sales and marketing, reporting directly to the CEO.
Develop, monitor and achieve sales targets
Lead and develop the sales team
Investigate and initiate new customers as well as new areas of business
Develop a robust annual marketing plan and then implement same.
Ensure proper communication between sales, R&D and production to ensure the divisions work seamlessly together for the benefit of the company
Work with the CEO to cultivate new corporate customers and OEMs
Monitor and actively intervene in customer satisfaction and service levels
Act as the person of second-last resort in resolving customer complaints. The CEO is the last resort
Key Skills:
Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular) and SYSPRO.
Understanding of sales performance metrics.
Ability to work under strict deadlines and timelines.
Strong leadership skills with ability to work across cultures and different levels.

Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a Sales Manager and/or Marketing Manager. Motor industry experience would be an advantage.
