The Sales Representative will grow the revenue by means of new business development and expansion of existing clients. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong selling and relationship building skills. The incumbent will have a proven sales track record within any of the following industries: Fleet Services, Distribution, Warehousing and Transshipments. Proactively creating new sales opportunities with high-value clients. Grow revenue through new business development. Retaining and provide quality service to existing customers. Focus on growing customer spend with the company. Monthly reports and statistics regarding achievements and prospects. Ensure a good knowledge of the computer systems used on site. Identify and approach new clients, generate and follow up leads. Present to and consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to develop new products, and services to clients. Achievement of financial targets. Achievement of personal development objectives . Achievement of all sales/marketing targets. Team member satisfaction. Customer satisfaction. Support of BBBEE initiatives. Manage Relationships Through operational managers manage relationship with existing and new customers. Be able to work independently, meet deadlines and have excellent time management skills. Professional Relationship Through a principled, professional approach ensure and co-ordinate interaction with the Client and Customers in order to achieve a maximum benefit to all. 5 years' experience in sales and client retention. Educated to university degree level or equivalent professional qualifications. Matric. Good written and verbal communication skills. Sales Experience. Transport Industry Knowledge. IT literate (MS Office). People Skills. Social and Public Speaking. Presentation & Consulting skills. Knowledge of clients' requirements and customers' needs. Person needs good understanding of the distribution processes. Valid Code 8 driver's license with own transport.
