An opportunity has become available for a Sales Representative in Kwa-Zulu Natal (North Coast), reporting to the Regional Sales Manager with the possible start date of 01 July 2024 . The successful candidate must be able to achieve optimal results, thereby contributing to overall business growth and profitability. Selling products in the designated territory by taking and managing stock levels. Attending sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions and ad hoc marketing activity functions. Responsible for enhanced customer relationships and driving business development. Implementing and ensuring the successful roll out of marketing activities and plans. Securing and maintaining visual market share at customers with on-shelf execution of relevant point of sale. Implementing new brand's introductions in accordance with sales plans. Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantages. Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback. Reporting on monthly sales performance and other required feedback. Providing in-store product training to shop and pharmacy assistants when and where applicable. Promoting products to the relevant target markets. Effective territory management with required traveling in designated area. Contributing to the annual sales targets by ensuring optimal sales results in designated area. Maintaining customer status potential by evaluating them accordingly (gain, regain, retain, develop). Provide a focused customer service to ensure the long-term growth and profitability of the business. Responsible for sales administration and effective cost management to maximize profitability. Promoting SANP corporate values and contributing to a positive work environment. Any other reasonable and lawful responsibility which may be required. Knowledge, skills & experience required: Grade 12 (matric) certificate Tertiary qualification – preferably in Marketing, sales or Media related field Computer literate, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications. Time management - ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines. Valid drivers' license with own transport. Minimum 2 years sales experience (pharmaceutical or medical field). RepWise or comparable sales information system experience. Preferred Skills Required: Able to operate independently with a high level of integrity. Inventory and stock management knowledge. Finance and business knowledge (trade margins, mark-ups, profit, etc.) Excellent sales and negotiation skills. Awareness of recent trade developments. Innovative approach to problem solving. Flexible and adaptable to challenges. Exceptional customer service skills. A passion for natural medicine and the role they play in health. Good people skills and ability to converse at all levels internally and externally. Initiative-taking, target-driven with an optimistic demeanor.
