To be exposed and to learn different functions as executed in sales, production, distribution, and other related operational and administrative departments to obtain the required overall business understanding and knowledge. The main purpose of the role is to execute daily tasks as an internal sales representative while undergoing an internal structured learning program. • Travel – Locally and nationally for both short- and medium-term durations. • Relocation – The candidate should be available and willing to be relocated nationally at short notice as required. Function: Sales representative • Conduct internal sales using various techniques including cold calling. • Record, capture, and check orders. • Process quotes as per customer request. • Follow-up on quotes issued within agreed lead time. • Process and check invoices and picking slips. • Maintain and update product and service pricing on system and spreadsheets. • Maintain and update daily and weekly sales records. • Interaction with clients via email, social media, and telephone. • Build and maintain relationships with clients to predict order types and cycles. • Maintain daily and weekly contact with existing clients to maintain order frequency. • Act as liaison between clients and operations regarding delivery and product quality. • Work towards and achieve set sale targets. • Conduct daily stock confirmation for branches. • Maintain daily administrative and filing tasks. • Execute and assist with any other reasonable task as required. Function: Trainee • Commit and comply with the training schedule as provided. • Execute functions required for learning and development purposes in each department placed in. • Interact with different teams and be involved in activities with the purpose to learn and to understand. • Conduct both daily and overnight branch visits as part of the training program. • Do client visits at their place of business as part of sales and training. Job Profile: Sales and operations support (Incubator program) Job commitments and requirements: • Travel – Locally and nationally for both short- and medium-term durations. • Relocation – The candidate should be available and willing to be relocated nationally at short notice as required. • Flexibility – To be able to accommodate change in working location, hours, and routine at short notice. Experience: • 5 – 10 years sales experience. • Business to business sales experience will be advantageous. • Small business or team management experience will be beneficial. Qualifications: • Grade 12 • Relevant diploma or degree (NQF level 6) • Valid drivers license
