Merlog Foods, a large wholesaler and distrbutor of frozen foods, is recruiting for a dynamic Sales Trader to joing the sales team. Maximise number of line items sold Establish and maintain relationship with existing and potential customers Identify and resolve customer concerns Communicate deals, new products to customers Develop relationships with customers in order to understand their needs, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process Find new business Visit existing/new customers Provide technical advice on products Obtain orders from customers, capture orders and ensure smooth delivery of such Be brand ambassador for Merlog Foods Use necessary tools to identify gaps and opportunities within the current customer base Resolve customer complaints Take full accountability for assigned customers Capture orders on ERP system Assist with outstanding payments Communicate with cold store & transport department Manage customer stock requirements Manage pricing to customers Assist in stock management Grade 12 (Matric) 5 years' extensive sales experience (FMCG preferred) Able to travel (own transport essential) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent negotiation skills Organised and methodical Fluent in English Market related (basic salary) Permanent positions: 50% contribution to Discovery Health Medical Scheme Provident Fund (funeral & death benefits)
