Scientific Internal Sales Officer (G861) - Pretoria

BSc in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Microbiology. At least 3 years' experience in sales and 3 years' experience in a laboratory environment. Valid driver's license. Location: Pretoria, Gauteng Description: A leading supplier of water testing equipment is looking for a dynamic Scientific Internal Sales Officer to join their team. Duties will include but are not limited to: •Good chemistry knowledge, be familiar with basic laboratory chemicals and basic lab practices •Perform quotations on chemical and microbiological products according to customer requirements with detail and accuracy •Able to interact with clients telephonically (and email) to thereby relay above analytical and problem-solving skills •High level of telephonic skills integrated with sales skills •Follow-up and follow-through procedures driven •Administrative task driven but also sales driven: hunting/closing opportunity skills •Support internal staff members with their sales initiatives •Be present at expo's and perform client interactions •Be highly competent on HACH equipment and reagents supported/driven with an internal learning program and continued self-learning actions Key Requirements: BSc in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Microbiology or relevant; 3 years' sales experience and 3 years' experience in a laboratory environment; experience with CRM management; sales courses advantageous. Additional Requirements: Excellent oral and written communication skills; analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent computer skills; attention to detail Starting date: As soon as possible.
