To plan inbound and outbound trips by optimally allocating vehicles and trips ensuring the required deliveries will be completed on time and in full as per customer orders and service level agreements. Schedule and assign trips via the planning tool. Ensure the most optimal and least cost plan is achieved. Review and adjust tactical plan continuously in line with actual performance and expected outcome. Assist with queries throughout your shift on a national level. Engage with the client and third parties daily to ensure operations and planning are correct. Continuous monitoring of actual vs. planned performance through all functions. Be able to interpret data and use this while planning. Crisis management and providing formal feedback on changes to plan and execution. Resource shift planning. Ensure the planning tool database is accurate and up to date Master data management Rate Management Oversee the Planning tool process and review output before being published. Reporting Updating of reports and important communications to the business. Daily, Weekly & Monthly Reporting including tracking of savings vs budget Continuous improvement projects. Equipment planning. 3 year Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or equivalent Skills and experience required Atleast 3-5 years experience in a similar role Strong analytical (Strong MS Excel) Computer literate, power BI beneficial Tertiary qualification or 3-year transport-related work environment Understand Bulk operation Must be able to cope with a high-pressure environment Crisis management and problem-solving Conflict management Hard working Good interpersonal skills/team player Own transportation Forward thinking and logical thinking of transport operations.
