Well established Sandton based import / export company seeks services of a mature experienced bookkeeper to Trial Balance. Bookkeeping to Trial Balance Accounts payable function Accounts receivable function Inventory function Cash book function Processing of monthly journals Responsible for reconciliation of credit card and petty cash Assistance to Managing Director for monthly VAT submissions Providing necessary information to management and other departments when required Assist team when needed eg: sourcing product, purchase orders, exports documents (training will be supplied) Understanding Importing and exporting function and inputting exchange rates essential Preferable to live in Sandton / surrounds A relevant qualification in bookkeeping Experience with Palladium accounting package Ability to work in a high pressure environment essential Good communicator Multitasker Team player Own vehicle please do not reply if you do not have a vehicle Previous import / export experience advantageous Fluent in English Minimum of 6 years working experience in bookkeeping (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE LESS) Recent contactable references on landline (not cell phone) Be prepared to undergo a test on Excel and Word Punctuality, Reliability, Integrity & Honesty Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Palladium (please specify)
