Reference: DUR000011-LL-1 Well respected engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing civil design mine infrastructure projects. This includes storm water management infrastructure (dams, canals), bulk earthworks (terraces, platforms), roads (gravel, mine haul roads, dragline walkways), mine waste disposal facilities, tailings facilities and more. They will be responsible for managing the design team, interface with the client, check and approve deliverables, including compiling design reports, project study inputs, bill of quantities, project specifications and others as may be necessary. BEng / BSc Eng or higher qualification. Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience. Above average academic results. Good understanding and knowledge of soil mechanics. Relevant experience in the design of mining related infrastructure. Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D. Professional registration with ECSA. R 800,000 - R 950,000 - Annually
