Senior Civil Engineer - - Durban

Requirements:

BEng/BTech (Civil Eng)
Must be professionally registered as a Civil Engineer with ECSA
Minimum of 10 years technical experience
Minimum of 4 years team leadership experience (within a consulting engineering firm)
Experience in:
- Infrastructure design
- Roads, earthworks, storm water and sewer - essential
- Storm water management
- Pump station design (both sewer and water supply) desirable.
- Experience in the following industries / areas - a strong advantage:
- Municipal engineering, Housing infrastructure, Industrial

Other required skills, abilities and behaviours:

Must be active in the design field and proficient in use of MS Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D (essential) and IDAS an advantage
Knowledgeable in Hec-ras, GIS, PCSWMM or similar an advantage
Knowledgeable in eThekwini standards an advantage
Problem Solving and Critical Thinking
Accurate with strong attention to detail
Confident, with strong interaction / people skills
Dynamic and driven yet humble
Even tempered
Team player
