Our client, an established Investment Manager, is currently seeking a Senior Credit Analyst with Asset Management experience to join their team of professionals in Johannesburg. Responsibilities: Analyze financial data and credit history to determine the likelihood of a borrower honoring their financial obligations Evaluate the overall creditworthiness of existing and prospective clients Complete detailed financial ratio, trend, and cash flow analyses Create projections and forecasts based on financial data Prepare credit risk assessment reports and make recommendations to senior management Stay updated with market trends, legal and compliance requirements, and industry best practices Ensure compliance with credit policies and guidelines Monitor loan portfolios for compliance and risk assessment Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather relevant information Stay informed about changes in regulations and market conditions that may impact credit decisions Requirements: Proven working experience as a Credit Analyst, preferably in a senior role 3-5 years Asset Management experience Strong knowledge of financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and credit evaluation methodologies Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance guidelines Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to stakeholders Proficient in using financial software and tools for analysis and reporting Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Professional certifications in credit analysis or risk management are a plus Experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Benefits: Market-related salary Contact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.
