Senior Engineer Automation Testing - Randburg
Task:Â
- Participation in all scrum/tribe ceremonies including defining user stories and acceptance criteria
- Execute daily testing tasks (Testing of stories as defined during the planning phase with predefined acceptance criteria)
- Write highly readable and extendable automated test scripts according to the automation development guidelines
- Participate in automation code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Implement and contributing to framework changes/updates as defined by the Testing Technical lead
- Participate in the creation and execution of other non-functional testing disciplines (e.g. load and performance)
- Ensure that tests cases are documented via the automated tests
- Perform test leadership within tribes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or Equivalent
- Agile certification desirable
- Testing certification mandatory
Technical Competencies
- Selenium Webdriver with Cucumber
- Appium
- Serenity BDD
- TestNG
- Karate
- Java
- Postman and/or other functional API testing tools
- Charles Web Proxy
- Spock API testing framework
- RestAssured
- Groovy
- Gatling
- 5 years manual testing experience testing both API and UI
- 3 years automation testing experience
- 2 years load testing and reporting experience
- CI/CD
- Git
- VPN tool
- Basic AWS knowledge
- Agile Testing Foundation qualification (preferred)
- ISTQB Intermediate Level Testing certification
