EIMS is looking for a Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team In recent years EIMS has continued to provide a wide range of increasingly complex services across the Energy, Mining, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and Water sectors. The company is growing and we are looking for dynamic and ambitious environmental scientists to grow with us. EIMS has been providing quality and defendable environmental advisory services for more that 30 years . We are looking for a Senior Environmental Consultant who is eager to learn and expand their professional career in a diverse range of services (including but not limited to Impact Assessment, Auditing, and Sustainability). Key sectors that you will work in include the Energy, Mining, Oil and Gas, and Infrastructure sectors. The more you grow at EIMS the better, and we will support you to do that. Qualifications: Must be a Registered EAPASA ( not a Candidate EAP ). Minimum Honours degree from a reputable university. Masters or Doctorate in would be preferrable. Experience: At least 10 years experience as an Environmental Assessment Practitioner. Preference will be given to candidates who have practiced in the Oil and Gas and Mining sectors. Experience in navigating the various environmental authorisation and licencing processes associated with complex mining/ oil & gas/ or infrastructure projects. A comprehensive understanding and practical experience in navigating the South African enviro-legal framework. Project management experience including the ability to manage multi-discinplinary teams to exceed clients expectations on time within pre-defined project budgets. Excellent organisational skills. Attention to detail and quality driven. ECO or Auditing experience. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse professional team. A drive to grow and develop both yourself and the EIMS brand through identifying, and responding to business development opprotunities.
