Reference: CPT001177-FT-1 SENIOR PRODUCTION / FARM MANAGER / ESTATE MANAGER Bonnievale Our client offers an opportunity to a SENIOR PRODUCTION/ FARM MANAGER on an extensive citrus and plum farm in the Bonnievale area, Western Cape. RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing all production activities including planting, irrigation, fertilizing and pruning The effective management of the total human resources component All related administrative and audit functions Procurement procedures Full budgeting process and adherence to agreed budget and financial indicators Review of all risk related matters Continuous improvement of production processes and outputs The ideal candidate is an energetic and practical, mechanically inclined person with an eagerness to learn and has an aptitude for new technology. In this position, the successful candidate will have to be able to act autonomously and take ownership of the entire production unit. Please note this is an EXECUTIVE LEVEL position. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: A tertiary qualification in Agriculture will strengthen your application. At least 10 years comparable experience is required.
