Senior SHEQ Officer - Cape Town City Centre


Duties will include the planning, implementation, maintaining, control and review as well as monitoring of all SHEQ
In the planning phase, the focus is on comprehending legal, statutory, and client requirements, as well as company policies and procedures, to establish site-specific protocols aligned with the project scope and management system. This involves assessing and documenting risks along with appropriate control measures
To apply policies, plans and procedure and train employees accordingly
Coordinate and manage HSE Officers, contractors and sub-contractors
Review the effectiveness of the policies, plans and procedures implemented
Monthly site statistics recorded
Monthly and quarterly audit reports
Risk control measures

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience
Valid drivers license
Computer literacy essential, including Lotus Notes, MS Word and Excel

Qualification:
Matric (minimum)
SAMTRAC or equivalent
SACPCMP Registered
Safety Management Certificate
HIRA, RCAT or equivalent

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
