The role: Our client is seeking a Service Providers Practice Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing optimal support to healthcare providers on the network, expanding the network, and promoting the Scheme.

Functions:

  • Provide personalised support to healthcare providers on the network, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
  • Expand the network of healthcare providers by identifying and engaging potential partners.
  • Promote the Scheme to healthcare providers, highlighting its benefits and advantages.
  • Maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, addressing any concerns or issues they may have.
  • Utilise excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with healthcare providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to facilitate administrative tasks.
  • Pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all interactions and documentation.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Office, Outlook, and Internet.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans with strong interpersonal communication.
  • Team player with a caring attitude.
  • Flexible in adapting to changes and management decisions.
  • Proficient in problem-solving techniques and record keeping.
  • Leadership skills and ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • Medical or business-related degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a health-related or medical scheme environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in client service, medical representation, or interaction with specialists.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
