Job Title: Shift Supervisor - Mining Industry Location: Northern Cape RPO Recruitment's client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join their mining operation in the Northern Cape. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a designated shift and ensuring that production targets are met safely and efficiently. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of mining personnel on a designated shift Monitor production levels and quality standards to ensure targets are met Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions Train and mentor mining personnel to improve performance and promote a positive working environment Coordinate with other supervisors and managers to optimize production schedules and resolve any issues that may arise Essential Requirements: Matric Opencast Blasting Certificate Minimum 5 years of experience in open cast mining environment At least 3 years' experience in a supervisory role Must reside in the Northern Cape Extensive knowledge of mining operations and processes, including drilling, blasting, and material handling Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and make sound decisions under pressure Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in the mining industry Benefits: Salary: Negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or emailing your CV to RPO Recruitment at miningrporecruitment.us Alternatively, you are also welcome to contact Anzaan Kennedy on LinkedIn or call her on 021 180 0776.
