Our client is an IPP based in the Northern Cape. They have been in the Operations and Maintenance phase of the plant for a few years already and are looking for a new HR Resource. The role is site based, and permanent, with great site benefits. Purpose of this role: Be the Site Associate People and Culture Manager for the site operations supporting the HR Country Head and Plant GM to manage the effective development and implementation of P&C strategies, administration, reports, systems, policies, and procedures to attract, motivate and retain high caliber employees and ensure the provision of best-in-class HR service in line with the business objectives. Act as the site HR data analyst and coordinator. To support the Country HR Head in streamlining the countries HR administration and systems integration working closely with all the HR teams involved locally and globally. KPA's: Support HR Site teams Monitor and implement all P&C Operations related activities in the respective section, to provide exceptional services to internal clients in terms of visa possessing, handling grievances, providing letters, etc. to foster an effective employer-employee relationship. Work closely with the Plant General manager in ensuring all HR deliverables are met on site. Oversee the payroll sheets on monthly basis as per the set standards and timeframes, to guarantee an “on-time “pay” process. Oversee and ensure employees personal data and records are maintained and plant level, to ensure adherence to the internal P&C policies. Support implementation of absence and leave management records for all employees in/country in accordance with company policies, while obtaining required authorizations from the concerned units for further actions, to ensure full and timely storage of information. Oversee the implementation of P&C systems such as job analysis and job description, compensation and benefits, motivation and incentives, performance management. Requirement for this role: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent. 5-10 years' experience in Human Resources Management at supervisory level. Experience working at an operations site essential. CCMA and Labor relations experience essential. Payroll administration and systems management experience essential.
