Our client a leader in the healthcare industry is currently looking for a Commodity manager to be based in Roodepoort Gauteng. Will be responsible for overall management of the allocated commodities as applicable to Diagnostics and oversee the inventory and purchasing operations mainly laboratory related equipment, consumables and reagents used in the production of a test result. The manager will have to manage the acquisition there-of price from approved suppliers and the despatch thereof to end-users. Cost of sales as a % revenue. Inventory days. Lead times management. Stock holding and expiry dates. Stock out management. Systems and processes. BCom Degree or alternative tertiary qualifications focussing on Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field. Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies South Africa. 5 years' experience with commodities/procurement/buying within the Private Healthcare or Laboratory Industry.
