Client in the petro-chemical industry is looking for a Stock Co-ordinator to join their team, looking for immediately available candidates. Shift work will be required; 6 - 6, days and nights, shift allowance applicable. The incumbent will ensure the effective and efficient capturing, posting and control of all operational activities on sites which affect stock. The incumbents will assist in ensuring the effective and efficient administration and control of bond related activities in accordance to all SARS, Customs and Excise Regulations. Minimum Requirements: SAP experience advantageous Book keeping experience required Experience in liquid bulk storage/sites and shipping operations advantageous 3 years' customs clearing experience Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Finance Grade 12 with mathematics Job Specification: • Be available for after-hours support/queries regarding bond pages and stocks • Execute any other responsibility that is legal and lawful and is in the best interest of the company • Check for vehicles which have not been dispatched and report on it daily • Authorise the release of bonded product (orders to site) • Reconcile monthly tank/book stock when necessary • Provide after-hours support assigning and releasing of bonded orders • Ensure that all product received into terminalis customs cleared • Follow up on any other processing errors and ensure that they are corrected • Updating of bond pages with ex-bond customs numbers • Implement and practice FIFO and ensure bond pages do not exceed two years • Co-ordinating and controlling transfer of ownerships • Co-ordinating and controlling the movement of bonded stock as well as stock adjustments for bonded products • Capturing and managing all VOC's • Assigning and releasing of all bonded orders to the correct bond pages • Create Bond Pages for Ship inbounds and for tank transfers • Assist with month end and liaising with site and the surveyors • Ensure all tanks have a GMD • Ensure all rail before dips and rail after dips are posted timeously and before another operational activity is to take place • Capturing and posting transfers • Produce monthly shipping statistics • Compile vessel summary report and investigate abnormal loses/gains/variances between ship/shore and provisional dips • Review P201 checklist for discrepancies (dip temperatures, density, height) sign off as proof of review • Timeously deliver P201 to Clearing & Forwarding Department and surveyors once confirmed • Assist with releasing of tanks with signed indemnity after provisional dips are done Ensure all ship movements are confirmed accurately within 24 hours of final ship dip and explain any variations against this deadline (imports, exports) Apply Now
