Quantum Foods has a career opportunity at its Nulaid Farming Operations for a Supervisor Maintenance to join our dynamic team. This position will report directly to the Manager Farming Ops and will be based on Fransrug farm, Agter-Paarl, Western Cape. Diagnose processes and repair machinery & equipment Implement, plan for, and maintain reactive & preventative maintenance Optimise plant, vehicles or equipment Manage internal maintenance procedures Control maintenance costs, equipment & spares inventory Implement equipment upgrades & enhancements Dismantle, fit & assemble machinery & metal parts Electrical fault finding and repairs General Maintenance Responsible for Health & Safety of the farm (incl. audits & injuries on duty) Manage & control workshop equipment and tools (incl. monthly stock take) Manage a team Fitter & Turner Trade Certification At least 5 years' experience in a similar role Farming Operations Experience will be advantageous Poultry Equipment knowledge will be advantageous Computer Literate Valid driver's license & own transport is mandatory Weekend duties and Standby is mandatory Clear Criminal Record At Quantum Foods we are committed to Employment Equity and offer a competitive salary package and benefits.
