Technical Manager (Battery Warranties, Product Support and Training) - Johannesburg

Our client, a leading manufacturer, supplier, and wholesaler of battery technologies in Sub-Saharan Africa, is seeking a dynamic Technical Manager to join their team. If you're a seasoned professional with a strong background in warranties, product support, and training, this role is for you!
As the Technical Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing our technical department, ensuring smooth operations and driving continuous improvement in our warranty processes. Your responsibilities will include formalizing our company's warranty policy, assessing claims, and providing comprehensive product support and training to staff nationwide.
To excel in this role, you'll need to have a solid foundation in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical qualifications, along with a deep understanding of battery technologies. With a minimum of 10 years' experience in warranties and support in a technical environment, and at least 7 years' experience in providing technical training, you'll be well-equipped to take on the challenges of this position.
We're looking for a self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, working independently while also collaborating closely with customers and suppliers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
