The company is situated in Boksburg, Gauteng and manufactures specialty chemicals for the mining, PVC, explosives and battery industries (local and international). To sell a range of Plastics/ PVC additives to ensure continuous growth in existing markets and to ensure expansion into new markets. Duties: Calling on customers. Extensive cold calling. Developing new Business. Establishing technical requirements specific to customer needs. Good product knowledge and good communication skills. Education: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification Qualifications: Appropriate Sales/ Marketing diploma / degree. A chemistry qualification will be an advantage. Experience: 5-year technical sales experience in the plastics environment. Result- Oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. With strong technical selling ability and a proven track record. Other: Computer literate i.e., MS office/computer (Word, excel, Syspro etc) Valid driver's license is essential. must be able to work Independently with minimal supervision. Salary basic range Maximum is R34 873 basic per month plus commission. (commission amount still to be finalised) Benefits offered – Med aid (50%) Provident Fund Bonus – 13 th Cheque The sales rep will need their own car and we will reimbursed with fuel (once proof of kilometres travelled is submitted).
