Operational Requirements (Job Description): Report to the branch manager. General housekeeping: Oversee that the sales area, offices, store facilities, kitchen and ablutions and general appearance of the building is kept clean, neat and in attractive condition. General housekeeping: Answering telephones and assisting customers and suppliers during sales calls and purchases. General housekeeping: Notify the management of any equipment failure, maintenance issues or problems that arise from the building and systems in place. General housekeeping: See that office equipment, stationary and sales catalogues are ordered and in stock General housekeeping: Keep a file system where all necessary and required documentation is safely kept. General Housekeeping: Setup meeting agendas, keeping notes of agenda discussions and resolutions. General housekeeping: Keep a petty cash system in order and monitor cash income and expenses. General Housekeeping: Responsible to open in the morning and lock up in the evening. General Housekeeping: Assist with stock taking when required by the head office and auditors. General housekeeping: keep a health and safety system and file in place and maintain with relevant training courses and procedures as required by the dept of labour. General housekeeping: Keep track of clocking times and attendance register of employees. Storage: Assist with picking stock from bin locations for purpose of sales and hose assemblies Storage: See that all warehouse procedures are kept up to date and maintained. Workshop: Assist with measuring hoses and hoses assemblies according to job card and invoice requirements for purpose of hose assemblies and sales of hoses & fittings and other components. Warehouse: Set up and keep record of monthly inventory planning and orders from the head office and suppliers. Warehouse: Keep the Sage warehouse system and the physical warehouse locations synchronised. Oversee that physical all bin locations and product locations are kept as per the Sage system bin and product locations. Alert management of any location changes and non-conformances, in order to correct and adjust the locations. Storage: Planning of inventory purchasing and quantities to be kept for sales and production. Also keeping the relevant hose & fitting inventory in adequate quantities in the warehouse for customer needs. Workshop: Assist with creating of job cards and bill of materials for production and customer quotations. Sales: Assist customers with telephone and counter sales by making quotations, invoices, delivery notes, with correct pricing and delivery dates. Use the Sage Evolution system to perform and follow procedural duties when executing sales, quotations, picking slips, sales orders, purchasing etc. Sales: prepare sales documents with payment and customer purchase order details. Sales & Logistics: make sure that components and parts are packed and ready for despatch to clients or for collection to clients or for the workshop assistant for installations. Sales: Alert the branch manager or relevant person in charge about any non conformities that affects sales or non-deliveries. This is for assistance in corrective actions. Sales: Assist the external sales personnel with customer calls and visits by attending to their enquiries and requirements. Sales: Get in contact with the area sales manager or sales representative in regards to specifications, prices, drawings if requested by the client, in order to assist the area sales manager or client with quotations if needed or unsure. Sales: As the technical hose & fitting specialist, ensure training to personnel and customers on the hydraulic hose and fitting range and assisting with the implementation of the suitable hose & fittings as per the customer needs and technical requirements. Sales: Be available to perform deliveries of parts and orders to customers in case where the driver is not available to perform this task. Sales: Payments: Take note of customer accounts that are on hold and alert the branch and sale manager of customer orders that cannot be executed for that reason. Warehouse: Set up and keep record of monthly inventory planning and orders from the head office and suppliers. Salary: R20 000.00 per month Car Allowance and fuel Accommodation Apply Now
