Then follow our LinkedIn page and subscribe to our mailer . RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you would manage transactions, coordinating stakeholders and processes to ensure successful completion. This includes addressing aspects like credit risk, tax, and regulations. You would perform financial, structuring, and legal analysis on deals to find optimal solutions for clients. Additionally, you would prepare, review, negotiate, and execute legal documentation with external parties. Implementing our client's corporate finance strategy is key, optimising operations in terms of tax, risk, cost of funding, and regulations. You would also contribute to the development of financial models and legal documentation templates, and conceptualize new products based on market trends. Managing a portfolio view of transactions, involving both funds used and raised, is essential. Collaboration with Business Development, Risk, Engineering, Finance, and Asset Management teams is crucial for success in these tasks. SKILLS Independent and results-driven work ethic Embedded understanding of financial risk, financial models, and legal documentation Prefer to work quantitatively Perform best under pressure in a fast-paced environment Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google suite, and other hybrid work tools Excellent written and spoken English (additionally languages are a plus) You value empathy above ego EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or law field EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 3 years of expereince in financial structuring or M&A at a reputable financial institution, corporate entity, or law firm (preferably in group finance) Experience reviewing legal documentation (eg. Contracts) Successful track record of negotiation with third-party stakeholders R600k - R800k CTC per annum
