We look forward to receiving your application. - Managing fleet of trucks and drivers - HR / IR related duties - Managing service intervals and all maintainance related functions - Ensuring all vehicle licenses are up to date at all times - Fuel Monitoring - Ensuring that all drivers and operators have the correct, up to date qualifications - Making sure vehicles are properly maintained - Inspecting vehicles - Working within budget contstraints - Reporting back to management on operations - Ensuring that operations in terms of fleet runs smoothly (ensure that dispatch and routing is correct) - Keeping schedules and organising team members - Dealing with suppliers and clients to resolve any issues - Identifying gaps within operations for improvement - All ad hoc duties assigned Experience in the transport industry is essential. Managing all operations of fleet. - Minimum 5 years experience in transport management - Knowledge and experience with transport, routing trucks, dispatch planning, maintanance, repairs etc. - Leadership skills & experience in managing drivers - Excellent time management skills - Efficiency and deadline-oriented - Great problem solving skills CTC R 35 000.00 - R 40 000.00, depending on qualifications and experience. Possible annual bonus depending on company profitability and individual performance
