SLA Performance, Ensure compliance to company as well as ACSA Health and Safety policies and procedures. Ensure vehicle checklist is completed at all times. Understanding the terms and conditions of ACSA as per Induction training, AVOP Training etc. The Tug driver is responsible for safely and timely pushing back departing aircrafts and towing aircrafts for re-park. The Driver will ensure that he uses a serviceable tug. Take the correct towbar and isolation pins for the conventional tug. Always pull the tow bar from behind the tug when driving to the aircraft parking bay or after completing a tow. Do not over steer tug. Immediately stop the tug if the isolation pin on the tow bar has sheared. Always adhere to the towing speed limit of 8 kph. Ensure there are no obstacles that can damage the aircraft Not use a towbarless tractor to tow or pushback any aircraft that do not use isolating pins. Manually connect the tow bar to the aircraft using the correct serviceable isolation pin and towbar. Do not connect the tug to the tow bar unless the engineer has indicated that the aircraft can be towed. Not connect the towbarless tractor to the aircraft unless the Airline Ground Engineer has indicated that the aircraft can be towed. Commence the tow after confirming with the Airline Ground Engineer. Where possible have wing walkers at each wingtip. Accelerate the tug gradually to avoid jerking the aircraft. Grade 12 Code 14 & PDP Ability to work irregular hours Driving experience essential Completed GSE 3 theory and practical training Work in adverse weather conditions Must be able to communicate over the radio Good understanding of the airline requirements Excellent timekeeping Preference will be given to candidates who are in possession of a RT/ Partac license Market Related Apply Now
