Phakisa Holdings is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in the following areas: Parow, Goodwood, Maitland,Nyanga, Gugulethu, Bishop Lavis, Belhar, Delft The Warehouse Supervisor, is a pivotal role responsible for operational excellence, encompassing inbound and outbound logistics, inventory management, participation in our HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) management program, team leadership, problem-solving, lean implementation, SOP execution, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Operational Leadership: Lead and manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, order fulfilment, and resource allocation, to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. Customer Service Excellence: Maintain the highest level of customer service by ensuring orders are processed accurately, deliveries are on time, and customer inquiries or issues are addressed promptly and professionally. Monitor and manage the Customer Complaint Rate KPI. Inventory Management: Implement robust inventory control measures, including regular cycle counts, to maintain precise stock levels, reduce shrinkage, and minimize discrepancies. Monitor and manage the Inventory Accuracy and Inventory Turnover Rate KPIs. Warehouse Productivity: Continuously monitor and improve warehouse productivity, tracking metrics such as the number of units picked per hour, orders processed per day, and shipments made per shift. Cycle Time: Streamline warehouse processes to reduce cycle times, enhancing operational efficiency and order processing speed. Monitor and manage Cycle Time KPI. Order Lead Time: Minimize order lead times by optimizing order processing workflows, ensuring faster delivery to customers. Monitor and manage Order Lead Time KPI. Safety Incidents and Lost-Time Injuries: Promote a culture of safety and track safety incidents, near-misses, and lost-time injuries to ensure a safe working environment. Monitor and manage Safety Incidents and Lost-Time Injuries KPI. Cost Management: Analyse and manage the cost associated with processing each order, including labour, equipment, and overhead costs. Implement cost-saving measures to improve profitability. Monitor and manage Cost per Order KPI. Inventory Control: Reduce stockouts and minimize shrinkage by implementing effective inventory management strategies, demand forecasting techniques, and security measures. Monitor and manage Stockout Rate and Shrinkage Rate KPIs. Employee Productivity: Monitor and enhance employee productivity by tracking metrics like picking accuracy, order completion rates, and adherence to safety protocols. Monitor and manage Employee Productivity KPI. Customer Satisfaction: Continuously monitor and address customer complaints related to warehouse operations, ensuring customer satisfaction. Monitor and manage Customer Complaint Rate KPI. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement, and implement lean principles and best practices accordingly. Monitor and report on Continuous Improvement Initiatives. Operational Efficiency: Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to optimize operations, monitor inventory accuracy, and enhance overall warehouse productivity. Grade 12 Minimum 5 years' experience in warehousing (preferably in a FMCG environment). Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience. Computer literate Track record of initiating and improving warehouse efficiency. Track record of developing staff. Strategizes and find solutions. OSHA experience advantageous. Implements and maintains procedures. Proven track record in warehouse supervision and management. Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Outstanding problem-solving acumen. Demonstrated expertise in lean principles and process enhancement. Familiarity with health, safety, and security protocols. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. R25,000 Per Month Apply Now
