We are looking for an Accountant to join our dynamic squad. You would need to be versatile to take on this multifaceted role. Our perfect person is proactive, organised and eager to contribute. Responsibilities:
- Manage and prepare client invoicing and queries
- Manage and maintain financial operations
- Manage, prepare and submit tax and compliance requirements
- Prepare for audits and assist during the audit process
- Responsible for all regulatory submissions
- Manage and maintain all IT requirements and equipment
- Process staff payroll using Sage Payroll Professional, including commission calculations and leave tracking on SAGE Self Service System
- Prepare and process contractors' payroll and invoices, including timesheets, profit calculations, and client billing
- Reconcile consultant production, fixed assets, intercompany loan accounts, and all balance sheet accounts on the trial balance
- Office management
Requirements:
- Degree or relevant finance qualification
- SAIPA Articled - preferable
- 1 - 2 years of commercial experience
- Strong MS Office and MS Excel experience
- Knowledge and experience with accounting and IT software/licensing - we use Pastel & Sage
