Accountant (contract) - Johannesburg
A large manufacturing concern is recruiting for an Accountant. This is best suited for immediately available candidates as it is a 3 months contract with potential to become permanent. Duties:
- Ensure accuracy of the fixed asset register
- Prepare and post IFRS16 Journal
- Updating and maintaining Capex File
- VAT and Tax
- Completion of financial statements
- Support payroll
- Assist with external audit
Education and experience:
- BCom accounting
- Completed articles is preferred
- At least 3 years experience in a similar role
