LOCATION: RUSTENBURG, NW The Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a smooth and effective onboarding process for new employees and contractors in the smelter rebuilds industry. This role involves coordinating all aspects of the onboarding process. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. • Coordination & Preparation: -Liaising with Procurement daily in aspect of PO releases for Service Providers withing the SIB Project Portfolio -Ensuring That the service Providers PO does not expire withing the project time period. -Ensuring Listing Extension are done in a timeously manner to eliminate access issue's / access blocks. -Checking of Personal Engagement Pack / requirements -Sign of off listings (For Engagement only in a service provider aspect) -Sign off Listing for Engagement and Access ( Owners team) -Resolving access issue's although this is not an onboarding function. -Setting up kick off session with service provider – taking them through the onboarding process and process flows / Requirements. -Liaising with external service providers to accommodate the service providers groups training needs ( MCD , IRCA , Transvaal Training , Franklin Global , Trauma rescue , etc.) -Confirming bookings and progress -Liaising with the ORMP for additional medical spaces if required. -Assisting in the request of ORMP Riks assessments / noise exposures to the Occupational Hygienist -Ensure all necessary paperwork, including contracts and personal documentation, is completed and submitted before arrival. • Record Keeping, Tracking and Reporting: -Regular check in session to track onboarding progress. -Maintain accurate records of all onboarding activities and employee information. -Tracking Personal Training & Medical expiry dates and plan bookings accordingly -Drafting of required Memo's / Exemptions / Sign off. -Reporting on onboarding progress across sites (WSM, ACP, MSM, PSM) -Ensure compliance with local labour laws, industry standards, and company policies. -Assist with the preparation and submission of compliance reports as required. • Physical Requirement: -Certificate of fitness •SHE Requirement -Site Specific Induction •Additional Requirements: -Primarily office-based with regular visits to smelter sites. -Occasional travel may be required to support onboarding at different locations. -Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines. - Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in onboarding, or a similar role, preferably within the industrial or smelter rebuilds sector. -Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. -Superior communication and interpersonal abilities. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Cultural competence and sensitivity in a diverse workplace environment. •Qualifications: -Grade 12 Market Related.
