Admitted Attorney Specializing in Tax Law - Sandton Employment Equity Position A sought-after leading law firm specializing in tax law and advisory services, is seeking a skilled and experienced Admitted Attorney with expertise in tax law to join our esteemed team. With a reputation for excellence and a client-focused approach, we provide comprehensive tax solutions to individuals, businesses, and organisations. Admitted Attorney Specializing in Tax Law. Tax Advisory: Provide expert legal advice and strategic guidance to clients on a wide range of tax matters, including corporate taxation, international tax planning, VAT, customs duties, and tax disputes. Assist clients with tax structuring and planning for mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and other business transactions to optimize tax efficiency and compliance. Ensure clients' compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations by conducting tax reviews, audits, and due diligence, and advising on tax reporting and filing requirements. Tax Dispute Resolution: Represent clients in tax disputes and controversies before tax authorities, administrative tribunals, and courts, including preparing submissions, negotiating settlements, and litigating cases when necessary. Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their business objectives, providing tailored tax solutions, and delivering exceptional client service. Requirements: Admitted as an attorney in with a specialization in tax law. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience practicing tax law, with a focus on advising clients on complex tax issues and transactions. Expertise: In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and principles, with a proven track record of providing strategic tax advice and solutions to clients. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse tax issues, identify risks, and develop effective strategies to mitigate them. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex tax concepts clearly and concisely to clients and stakeholders. Client Focus: Client-centric approach with a strong commitment to understanding clients' needs, building trust, and delivering value-added tax services.
