Application support analysts provide application maintenance and support to organizations and companies to minimize service disruption and facilitate operations. The successful candidate will be required to investigate problems with software applications, diagnose root causes, and work on fixing them. The job entails the development and integration of various code fixes that can be reused by any staff involved in a similar function. Application support analysts are also responsible for identifying known errors and problem trends and for finding permanent solutions. They frequently help with training of new staff and provide expert advice and support to departments across the organization. They are also tasked with defining application support standards and processes and writing the related documentation. Specialised technical solution and support to escalated System and Software incidents. Co-ordinate and Manage the Change Control Board and logistic activities. Managing SAP technology support tickets/resolution. Managing the Business case requirements through to technology implementation Manage and partner with SAP SuccessFactors and/or 3rd party providers to keep up-to-date on quarterly release system specifications, managing system changes, and communicating updates to impacted stakeholders Maintain and manage system security roles and supporting content. Build and maintain relationships with third party Technology vendors with respective to technology service delivery. Manage global compliance to established policies, procedures, and governance. Participate as a Subject Matter Expert in various internal and external user groups. Support and Implement quarterly Technology releases on SmartPeople and other platforms and work with Leadership to determine the implementation plan. Manage and conduct testing of new releases and changes in multiple System environments (Preview, Stage and Production environment) Support organizational communication & change management efforts. Matric Recognized Bachelor's degree or relevant Diploma. SuccessFactors SFX Certification 3-5 years' experience in a technical/specialist role Technical Skills or Knowledge Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word SuccessFactors overall Power BI JAVA (Intermediate – Advance) R350 per hour
