Area Manager - Stores (JB4589) Rustenburg, Brits and Pretoria North R22 000 - R25 000 basic per month Car Allowance, Petrol reimbursement, (Pension fund after probation period) Permanent The Area Manager oversees the performance and success of multiple retail stores and kiosks. This role includes managing operations, driving sales, minimizing costs, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Area Manager ensures stores are organized, well-merchandised, and compliant with company policies. Minimum Requirements: 3 or more years of experience in retail management, with a strong track record of driving sales and managing multiple stores. Previous Telco-related experience. Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle. Duties and Responsibilities: Sales Management: Oversee the performance of retail stores, DSF, and Business Consultants within the region. Drive sales to achieve and exceed targets for all assigned stores. Conduct weekly visits to all assigned stores and kiosks. Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly sales reports, identifying variances and proposing corrective actions. Maintain updated knowledge of services and products, and ensure operational staff do the same. Provide feedback on marketing needs, product development, and pricing. Implement area-specific activation plans. Compliance Monitoring: Conduct weekly audits on compliance processes including RICA, VDocs, BVS, CRM, NGM, and CMSS orders. Review and analyze Q-man data. Monitor and follow up on canceled, open, and stuck orders. Ensure daily cash-ups and that shop banking matches actual sales. Report variances or discrepancies to management and implement corrective actions. Stock Management: Continuously monitor stock levels and maintain required inventory. Report stock variances to management and implement corrective actions. Customer Experience: Ensure a positive customer experience by coaching employees and managing a customer follow-up program. General Management: Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the stores. Manage staff performance. Ensure internal procedures are correctly implemented, maintained, and communicated.
