Core Purpose:- The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager (PM) with all the PM-tasks associated with the Contract.
- The Assistant Project Manager will also work closely with the Project Administrators and Engineers to ensure the effective execution of the project.
- The Assistant Project Manager will also be responsible for the schedule during the design phases, obtaining updates from the various disciplines and maintaining a status dashboard of the project progress.
- The Assistant PM will support the Project Manager with Integration, Scope analysis, Cost control, Quality Management, Procurement Management and also assist with all Project Communication (reporting and meetings).
Requirements:Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in civil engineering
- Professional Registered with ECSA
- Project Management qualification
Experience:- Minimum of 5-years of engineering experience.
- Minimum 5-10 years of Project Management experience in large multi-disciplinary projects.
- Contract Management knowledge and development of different forms of Contract.
- FIDIC Contract experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint presentation, and Excel (complex calculations and formulas).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Projects or Primavera 6.

- Thorough understanding of engineering management processes.
- Knowledge of tender and construction processes including constructability reviews.
- Knowledge of project financial and cost management processes.
- Experience and knowledge in commercial terms and conditions and the basic Law of Contract.
- Thorough understanding of risk management processes.
- Thorough understanding of quality and document management processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal.
- High level of numeracy/cost forecasting skills and financial understanding skills.
