Job Title: Auto Electrician
Location: Centurion
Salary: R30 000 - R35 000
Closing date: End July 2024
We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team in Centurion.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in vehicles, including trucks and heavy-duty vehicles
- Install and maintain electrical components, including wiring, batteries, and starter motors
- Conduct tests to identify electrical problems
- Use specialized tools and equipment to repair and maintain vehicles
- Keep accurate records of work completed and parts used
- Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to ensure effective repair and maintenance of vehicles
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in auto electrical systems
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Qualified Auto Electrician with a relevant trade test certificate
- 3 - 5 years' experience in auto electrical repairs, with experience working on larger vehicles (trucks, buses, etc.) being a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Computer literacy and experience with workshop management systems
- Familiarity with vehicle electrical systems and components
