An exciting opportunity has presented itself to appoint a suitably qualified candidate into the position of Banking Refunds Contact Agent. This position is based at Lance Laboratories in Richmond, Auckland Park (JHB Central). POSITION SUMMARY: This post holder is responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls from patients regarding refunds by using their knowledge of products or services as well as great customer service skills. Provide support and offer information as needed to keep customers satisfied and retain business. • Ensure that credit balance is valid and display excellent product knowledge. • Contact clients as per details provided to advise of refunds payable to them. • Verify the patient details and request the relevant information and documents required for the processing of the refund as dictated in the refunds working instruction. • Update audit of the patient account as required. • Forward the request to the refund processing team as per protocol. • Ensure all queries are successfully resolved and escalate the queries to management if need be. • Ensure effective communication to clients, delivering high level of service and telephone etiquette on the medical aids and private book to ensure resolution on queries. • Monitor own after calling work time to ensure call answering service levels are always met. • Performs adhoc duties as required by management. Qualifications: Grade 12 or relevant NQF level 4 qualification Tertiary Education in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration preferred Experience: 2 Years Relevant Working Experience (Finance/Accounting/Business Administration) Relevant Job Knowledge: Healthcare billing procedures, documentation and standards Competencies required to do the job: Accountability Accuracy Assertiveness Attention To Detail Communication Customer Orientation Deadline orientated Ethical behaviour Honesty Planning and organising Problem solving Self-management Stress management Negotiable Apply Now
