The purpose of the Brand Manager is to manage a portfolio of Private Label brands in the Quick Service Retail and Fresh ready meals sector with the purpose of building brand equity and planning and delivering market share growth. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams at both central and regional level. Conduct market research to identify consumer insights, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform the private label brand strategy and product development. Manage the development and execution of the private label brands strategy, ensuring that the brand positioning, messaging, visual identity, and brand guidelines is effectively executed. Plan and co-ordinate advertising and promotions campaigns across relevant media. Plan and effectively control the brand budget. Contribute to the innovation process through data driven people-centric compelling propositions and claims, sustainable product, and packaging design briefs. Brand engagement planning, implementation, and measurement of effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all touchpoints. Measure and analyse brand performance metrics, such as brand awareness, customer loyalty, and ROI, to optimize the private label brand strategy and tactics and drive continuous improvement. Responsible for ensuring the brand architecture and Corporate Identity (CI) is upheld and congruent with the overall brand strategy. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as agencies, vendors, and influencers, to enhance the private label brand reputation and reach. Travel will be required from time to time, including spending nights away from home during these travels. Qualifications and experience Bachelor's degree in marketing – (essential) 5 years of brand management experience – (essential) 5 years of marketing experience in blue chip/ successful organisation – (essential) Microsoft Office skills – (essential) Key competencies and work ethic Independent and motivated self-starter with good energy and drive.
