CAD Technician – Electrical Vehicle Charging Stations - South Africa
Job purpose
The CAD Technician will, under the direction of a senior member of staff, produce drawings and documents for the installation of Electrical Vehicle Charging Stations.
Qualifications
The employee will be expected to deal with a wide range of tasks, having responsibility for all of the following:
1. Producing CAD drawings, including site plans, general arrangement layouts and elevations.
2. Obtaining planning permissions and discharging of planning conditions.
3. Production of documents to comply with CDM Regulations.
4. Managing project, planning and programme trackers.
5. Coordinating both internal and external drawing/consultant/construction teams.
6. Ensuring drawings from other consultants are coordinated with master site plans.
7. Carrying out general project running duties, including responding to site queries and attending site meetings.
8. Producing as-built drawings and required documents to comply with CDM Regs.
Criteria
2-5 Years PFS Design experience
Proficient in AutoCAD
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
Highly organized and good communicator
Training on EV Charging and CDM as well as other PFS related qualifications will be given to the successful candidate.
