This is a 10 Month position. MAINTAIN KITCHEN AREA: Check that the equipment in the kitchen is in working order (Urn and microwave), reporting faulty equipment to Head Security and Facilities immediately. Keep the kitchen and the crockery and cutlery clean so that they are ready to use throughout the day. Check standard stock of groceries and cleaning supplies on a weekly basis, completing requisition forms for additional supplies and arranging timely processing, as required. Hygiene standards maintained. Groceries and cleaning products available always. PROVIDE REFRESHMENTS. Make tea/coffee for meetings on request, ensuring that refreshments are well presented. Check that grocery supplies are utilized for official use only, prevent wastage and report any misuse. Clear the boardrooms once meetings are finished so that they are always in a presentable condition. Check that adequate supplies of consumables such as tea, coffee and milk are available for the next day before leaving in the afternoon. ARRANGE CATERING SERVICES. Order catering services for various meetings on request, using standard providers, based on appropriate authorization. Send completed, authorized requisitions to Procurement for the purchase of consumables when catering for a meeting / function. Organize that food arrives on time and is presentable. Assist relevant internal stakeholders when outside catering services are utilized. Meetings are adequately catered for.
