We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team and contribute to our reputation for excellence. Job Description As a Chef de Partie, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen, ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef, contributing to the smooth operation of your designated kitchen section. This role requires a detail-oriented and creative culinary professional with a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Manage a specific section of the kitchen, such as sauces, vegetables, fish, or pastry. Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets the established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and development, bringing innovative ideas to the table. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory for your section. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment. Collaborate with other sections of the kitchen to ensure a smooth and efficient service. Handle guest inquiries and special requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Participate in kitchen meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. At least 4 years in a similar role Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a 4 or 5-star hotel or upscale restaurant. Culinary degree or relevant certification from a recognized institution. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards. Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Creative flair and a passion for food and culinary innovation. Good organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
