Our client in the Civil construction industry is looking for a Construction Project Manager that is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and completion of construction projects. This role involves managing resources, budgets, schedules, and ensuring that all project objectives are met in compliance with quality standards and safety regulations Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, cost estimates, and resource allocation. Coordinate and communicate with architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met. Prepare and present project proposals, progress reports, and status updates to clients and senior management. Budget and Cost Management: Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring financial control and cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to control costs without compromising quality. Review and approve invoices, change orders, and financial reports. Scheduling and Time Management: Develop detailed project schedules, identify critical path activities, and allocate resources to meet project milestones and deadlines. Monitor and adjust schedules as necessary to address delays or changes in project scope. Ensure timely delivery of project phases and final completion. Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to verify that work meets the required standards. Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the project. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proactive resolution of issues. Maintain contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges or changes. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all project activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety on-site and conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions. Investigate and report any accidents, incidents, or near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Team Leadership and Management: Lead, motivate, and manage project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Provide clear direction, set performance expectations, and conduct regular performance evaluations. Facilitate professional development and training opportunities for team members. Communication and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or inquiries. Facilitate effective communication and coordination among project stakeholders, ensuring alignment and cooperation. Conduct project meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and document meeting minutes. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and specifications. Prepare and submit regular progress reports, financial reports, and project closeout documentation. Ensure compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum of [10] years of experience in construction project management, preferably with large-scale projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, materials, and industry best practices. Proven experience with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, and Excell). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CCM) is a plus. Highly competitive remuneration based on past experience.
