Hire Resolve's client is seeking a Senior Civil Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for running multiple high value civil infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities Procuring and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers Monitoring project costs and variations, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints Preparing and submitting progress claims, valuations, and final accounts Conducting financial assessments of potential projects, including cost estimates and feasibility studies Managing commercial risks and providing advice on dispute resolution Collaborating with the project team to ensure effective cost control and financial management Requirements Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering projects Experience in civil projects is crucial. Civil infrastructure is preferred, but roads and earthworks experience would also be acceptable. Experience in both GCC and FIDIC form of contracts would be an advantage. Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite Strong knowledge of relevant construction contracts, standards, and regulations Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team and meet project deadline Benefits Salary : Negotiable Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
