Billing Process Administration: Generate and send out accurate invoices to customers promptly. Review invoices for completeness and accuracy before distribution. Update customer information and account status as needed in the billing system. Prepare and distribute account statements and reports as required. Collection Administration: Follow up on outstanding payments and overdue balances via phone, email, or mail. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in a timely and courteous manner. Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and initiate collection actions when necessary. Negotiate payment arrangements and terms with customers when required. Record-Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all billing and collection activities. Process payments received and ensure accurate allocation to customer accounts. Assist in the reconciliation of accounts receivable balances. Provide support during audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries related to billing and collections. Process Improvement and Collaboration: Work closely with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and concerns regarding billing. Collaborate with other departments to improve billing and collection processes and procedures. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations governing billing and collections practices. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Bachelor's degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or related field. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in billing, collections, or accounts receivable. Private hospital experience or healthcare setting Familiarity with billing software or accounting systems is desirable. Market Related
